This course is for current or prospective Release train Engineers or Chief Scrum Masters, who want to gain a deeper understanding and know what it really means to be an RTE or CSM. This course “WoW!–enhanced SAFe® Release Train Engineer 5” is a 3-day course that equips the attendee with a massive set of tools. To really benefit from this course, it’s good if the attendee is very well familiar with the Scrum Master role, and preferably has been a Scrum Master for some time.
The WoW! Agile “Enhanced SAFe” concept means that our course leaders have personal experience from the roles, contained in the course. This mean that the attendees will get first hand information about what really works well in practice, and what is a little more difficult.
Unique to SAFe®, the Release Train Engineer (RTE) is part of the trio of leaders that includes product managers and system architects. This plays a critical role in leading Agile Release Trains (ARTs) to deliver value. This means that the RTE must create the right environment, have the right conversations, facilitate the right meetings, and gather the right people to make decisions based on the right data. You’ll get the guidance and tools you need to work effectively in remote environments with distributed teams.
As a practicing scrum master in a SAFe® organization, you’ve got the tactical skills to coach Agile teams in delivering business value. Build on that strong foundation in the SAFe® Advanced Scrum Master course and discover how to facilitate success for Agile teams, Agile Release Trains (ARTs), and the organization. And get the guidance and tools you need to work effectively in remote environments with distributed teams.
You’ll learn how to apply Lean, Kanban, DevOps, and SAFe® principles to improve team and business outcomes. You’ll up-level your facilitation skills for key Agile and SAFe® events, whether they’re in person or across teams and time zones. And you’ll discover how communities of practice can support continuous improvement.
The Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe®) for Architects course prepares System, Solution, and Enterprise Architects to engage across the organization as effective leaders and change agents who collaboratively deliver architectural solutions. During this three-day course, attendees will explore the roles, responsibilities, and mindset of Agile Architects, and learn how to align architecture with business value and drive continuous flow to large systems-of-systems while supporting SAFe program execution. Attendees can really improve collaboration and alignment in a SAFe® Lean-Agile enterprise when they become a SAFe® 5 Architect.
This course is for senior technical contributors who need to understand the role of System, Solution, and Enterprise Architects in Lean-Agile enterprises. The course is also appropriate for individuals desiring a deeper view into how architecture enables continuous value flow and how architects engage in, and contribute to, a Lean-Agile enterprise.
In addition to all the above, Mats will add stories from his various agile assignments.
During this two-day course, attendees gain the knowledge necessary to lead a Lean-Agile enterprise by leveraging the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and its underlying principles derived from Lean, systems thinking, Agile development, product development flow, and DevOps.
